After five exciting days, Miss Grand France was crowned on the 8th of May 2024. The judges tagged their chosen queen, Safietou Kabengele, Spectacular MGF ’24.

Who is Safietou Kabengele?

Spectacular MGF ’24 saw herself as a tomboy who admired the glitz and glamour of pageantry but did not think she would fit in. She loved to play basketball and dance to hip hop.

Then, Kabengele’s family and friends nudged her to register for Miss Normandy. She did not think she would be selected at the time. She won and became more ambitious.

Inspired by Miss Normandy who won Miss France in 2021, Safietou was convinced that she too could win a national title and even represent on the national stage for the pageant title. So Kabengele entered for Miss Grand France and won.

Also, Kabengele works as a model. When she is not modelling, she is an export coordinator in a logistics company.

Now that Safietou is Miss Grand, she hopes to make a positive difference in the lives of children with disabilities, by supporting their parents. She recognizes the difficulty such parents have with their special children.
