Poet Amanda Gorman , a graduate of Sociology, came to the limelight in January 2021, when she featured at the inauguration of President Biden. She rendered the now famous poem- The Hill We Climb written by her.

Since then, Amanda Gorman has gone all over the world speaking on protection of children, women and our rights to live and of course reading poetry. She has been on magazine covers, received product endorsements and worked with world leaders.

She became the youngest poet to perform at a presidential inauguration. She is identified as an icon of her generation and an inspiration to many young people.
