REMEMBERING ABOSEDE NTUKIDEM nee OGUNDIPE: MISS NIGERIA 1968

Abosede Ntukidem nee Ogundipe flew the Nigerian flag on the world stage in London at the 18th edition of Miss WoNovember 1968. She was working with the Western Region as a secretary when she participated in the pageant.

Foluke Abosede Ogundipe married Mr. Ntukidem in 1969. In the 1970s, they moved to Lagos and she continued her career as secretary in Mobil Nigeria, Lagos, where she had a successful career till she retired aged sixty.

Foluke Abosede Ogundipe-Ntukidem was a true Nigerian queen with a heart of gold. Her husband of choice inspired her younger siblings to also follow their hearts by taking spouses from different parts of Nigeria. She mothered them too. Her heart was that large.

To further demonstrate her love for people, she adopted a young child from far away Bauchi, Joshua Luka amongst numerous other young people from other parts of Nigeria. From Edo state to Anambra state. They were all welcome into her beautiful heart.

She was seventy-five years old when she passed away on the 19th of December 2022.
